Dr. Leslie Ahlmeyer founded Yampa Valley OB/GYN in 1996 based on the foundations of quality, independent, local health care for the women of the Yampa Valley. Dr. Ahlmeyer retains a small, committed staff at Yampa Valley OB/GYN that embraces her philosophy of quality, independent care and individualized patient services. Our staff works diligently to schedule patients at intervals that allow time for detailed conversations, examinations and treatment with minimal waiting time.
HALLIE CORN
Head Nurse
Hallie is our lead Nurse at Yampa Valley OB/GYN, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology combined with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She attended Georgia College & State University for her bachelors degree and obtained her nursing degree from Colorado Mountain College. Hallie has previous experience in med-surg, maternal-newborn medicine and obstetrics. She has worked with children, the elderly and came to us after providing head nursing care at the local Foundry Treatment Center. Needless to say, we feel extremely fortunate to include such a well rounded, experienced and personable lead nurse in our practice!
DANNA QUINN
Family Nurse Practitioner
Danna fulfills a long-awaited desire by Dr. Ahlmeyer to include a dedicated, experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner to the Yampa Valley OB/GYN family. With BS in nursing, a MS,FNP, and over 10 years of clinical experience, Danna is proving to be a tremendous addition to the practice. She is a Colorado native with a diverse background in women's health, primary care for all ages, health promotion and has begun a personalized weight-loss counseling program as part of her practice. We are thrilled to have such a positive, friendly, patient-centered practitioner joining us in the office.
KRISTY DUBISKY
Clinic Manager, Patient Coordinator
Kristy Dubisky manages our clinic, office staff and also functions as the patient coordinator at Yampa Valley OB/GYN. She has been with us since Dr. Almeyer began her journey as a solo practicioner. Kristy is a Colorado native, and after earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado, she worked in various businesses along the front range before moving west into the mountains. With her business background and inquisitive mind Kristy rapidly absorbed the managerial and medical knowledge necessary to act as our chief administrator and nursing assistant. Patients are fortunate to have such an invested, bright personality awaiting them when they visit our office!
