Dr. Leslie Ahlmeyer founded Yampa Valley OB/GYN in 1996 based on the foundations of quality, independent, local health care for the women of the Yampa Valley. Dr. Ahlmeyer retains a small, committed staff at Yampa Valley OB/GYN that embraces her philosophy of quality, independent care and individualized patient services. Our staff works diligently to schedule patients at intervals that allow time for detailed conversations, examinations and treatment with minimal waiting time.
KENDALL MCGILL
Bachelor of Science-Nursing
Kendall McGill is our lead Nurse at Yampa Valley OB/GYN, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University and experience with Level I trauma and the Level IV NICU at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Kendall also has previous experience as a med-surg RN and in fetal care centers, where she specialized in high risk fetal outcomes and high-risk maternal conditions and co-morbidities. Needless to say, we feel extremely fortunate to include such a well trained, experienced and personable RN, BSN in our practice!
KELLY BORGERDING
Bachelor of Science - Nursing
Kelly Borgerding, although not in the office as frequently as the lead nurse, is a critical part of our team. Kelly grew up in the Steamboat community and attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Gonzaga University. After living and studying abroad, becoming Spanish fluent, and then accumulating valuable experience in the hospital setting, Kelly stepped into private-practice nursing, working with children and women of all ages. She has eagerly embraced the modern technologies offered in the Yampa Valley OB/GYN office, making her invaluable to the practice. Patients and staff love her energy and enthusiasm!
KRISTY DUBISKY
Clinic Manager, Patient Coordinator
Kristy Dubisky manages our clinic, office staff and also functions as the patient coordinator at Yampa Valley OB/GYN. She has been with us since Dr. Almeyer began her journey as a solo practicioner. Kristy is a Colorado native, and after earning her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Northern Colorado, she worked in various businesses along the front range before moving west into the mountains. With her business background and inquisitive mind Kristy rapidly absorbed the managerial and medical knowledge necessary to act as our chief administrator and nursing assistant. Patients are fortunate to have such an invested, bright personality awaiting them when they visit our office!
